I might not be good in expressing myself on my blog..
What is LOVE??????
I think you have asked the million dollar question here
As short as your question is, it is not very easy to answer and many spend much of their lives trying to seek something that is other than what it is. I suppose I could say it is a feeling, but how many feelings do we have each day that are correct and have a healthy or unhealthy longevity when the next day comes?
It is a process of building trust, the kind of trust whereby the couple can get to know each other's weaknesses and strengths without taking advantage or wanting to along with tenderness, acceptance, open communication, caring, apologies, forgiveness, appropriate boundaries and friendship.
With this level of connection, the strong bond between a couple will extend to the family, relatives, neighbors and in turn heal society as a whole.
But.... Other side- Love for a person, is the ultimate sacrifice.
Love for a person, Given my fullest attention, my whole heart, and whole lot of sacrifice. I'm an idiot. because I'd give up everything I have, everything I am and all those little hopes and dreams and head the other way - which is mostly the wrong way. Blind faith, but Isn't that what love is all about? Teach me.
Love for a person, it hurts. It hurts especially, when promises are forgotten, when dreams are ruined, when sacrifices goes unnoticed. When patience is unrewarded, when intentions are misunderstood, when effort goes to waste, when time and money is spent in vain. Yes, love is a sacrifice - its supposed to be that way. It hurts especially, when it's being abused.
Love for a person, should it even happen?
I never think anyone want to get hurt ?? Ever!!

There is fundamental flaw in this philosophy. See, if you love someone;the love and devotion towards that person should be unconditional. you should never demand any thing in return. I know it's easier said than done but at the end of the day, we as a person have to be a selfless person in order to survive in this world which is already full of hatred.
Just imagine, there was one mirabai who was in self less love with lord krishna and then there was Radha who even knew she can not get any thing out of that love and devotion towards the person who was already linked with so many gals.
Ok, agreed that these are highly respected and kinda mythological figures but still they have also lived on this earth.
It can give you more satisfaction in just knowing that the person whome you loved most are happier with some body else rather than living under one roof like two strangers.
I do agree very much with passing thought .
Definitely it hurts when your expectations, your hopes, your faith are lost. But if it happens then, I would like to say this is not LOVE.
Because love is simply love..
There is not one and there should not be any definition for that. Even if there is one then it should be the feelings that you have for somebody which makes you give (rather provide will be a better word) every thing to that person, with out expecting any thing. And at the same time it does not make you feel that you lost any thing. i.e. If you can feel contented(I repeat contented) with out getting any return and loosing every thing you have, for this person even then you are in love.
What a amazing world it will be if every person can have this feeling for every others.
