Sometimes when I wake up in the mornings, I cannot begin to fathom that it has already been two months since my marriage to my beloved Teddy. With all honesty, I cannot believe that I am even married! I was always told that you have to be ready for marriage and that marriage is not easy. I am not going to dispute what I have been told. However, I do wonder, can anyone really be ‘ready’ for marriage? How does one know that he/she is ready for marriage? I do not believe that these questions can be answered through logic. Simply put, if logic could answer these questions, then perhaps our emotions would have rational explanations.
Several times, Teddy has asked me what my marriage to him means to me. When he first asked me that question, I was simply left with a blank questionable thought. What exactly does this marriage mean to me? As I continue to think about the “perfect” answer, I start to realize that there really is no such thing. The truth is that this marriage represents an uncompromising bond of trust, friendship, happiness, and wisdom. That’s right, you read it correctly; I said wisdom.
Possible??
Wisdom is not a quality that someone can just learn and master quickly. Even the ‘wisest’ men on Earth have more to learn about wisdom. However, I firmly believe that as a couple, Teddy and I persevere to bring wisdom in our lives. We accomplish this through constant communication that is plagued with numerous challenges and obstacles. Most people, I believe, cringe at the thought of failure. Antithetically, I look at failure as a path towards wisdom since it enables me to clarify my understanding of Teddy’s words (the same is true the other way around). Collectively, Teddy and I continue our journey to gracefully overcome the challenges that greet us on the road of life. This demeanor has helped provide us with confidence in our decisions and has produced measurable results. For instance, as time as gone on, Teddy and I have a very healthy way of being open with each other and not feeling shy or reluctant to share our deepest and most truthful thoughts with each other. By coupling his rationality with my humorous leanings, I believe Teddy and I have successfully found a formula that results in us both making and learning wise decisions. The truth in wisdom is that it is eternal and never-ending. Let’s just say that Teddy is a Handsome husband and Me a wise wife :-)
I should make a note here and remind myself that I should not discount nor undervalue the challenges that Teddy and I face. I think it is true that marriage is not easy. Marriage is simply not a bond, but rather, a full-time commitment that requires both parties to engage in active communication and responsiveness. So yes, two months have passed and my marriage to Teddy reminds me of how important he is to my life. His acute sense of my needs quickly results in reminding me of how precious he is to me.
Thank you Teddy for being my biggest supporter and my greatest critic. Please continue to guide me as I walk the path of life with you in my arms. And I promise to continue to be the fixed pillar in your life as you embark on your dreams with me. I love you and I always will.

Little overdose hua mujhe..
Filled with a lot of depth .. still u were able to express it so well.. appreciate it :)
Coming to the marriage part, I wish u and T(i cant use that name nah) all success.
Be it marriage or friendship or love or ... one thing that i can really say is: one will be happy as long as he/she doesn't expect anything from their partner. One has to be ready to give rather than to expect. And the expectation part is the cause of most worries in relationships.
My hubby should buy me xyz, my wife should take care of abc, my friend should be ready to sacrifice this etc. etc. -- all these create a lot of barriers in any relation. Instead if one thinks that I should buy him/her xyz, I should take care of abc etc. , all izz well.
There is a lot of enjoyment even in giving. One has to understand and rejoice it. :)
And now don't ask me to purchase u something :P
Teddy's heart filled with emotion... eyes filled with tears of joy...
Cause your the only one within my heart
I was born to make you happy
Always and forever you and me
That's the way our life should be.... & will be ....for sure...
