First protest @school!!!

Heard a inner voice from the readers ki "kya laga rakha hai pyaar, kabhi mohabbat , kabhi shaadi???" Looking for something different !! Sop, here it goes...

In 1992, Studying in class 4th standard @M.C.C, school, Shahabad - Gulbarga(Co-edu school). It was 25th July- Saturday, social studies class taken by Miss. Suzanne teacher. She was one of the very strict teacher of the school and we would always show extreme reverence towards her. I remember we were made to sit in a class like- two boys and a girl in between or two girls sideways and a boy in middle. Does it sound strange..Emmm..its true!! Myself sitting between two boys- Yikes!! and one among them was a mentor for the class.
Conversation in the class --

Children - "Good Morning Teacher"!

Teacher - "Very Good Morning Children", Sit down!.
Before starting the class, she asked- We have got a new President for India and "Do you know who is new President of India?"

Children - Everybody was mum and never felt embarrassed for not knowing it and staring @each other and discussion on in between.

Teacher - 'Dinesh'(Topper of the class) please come here and was asked to move to the next class and know who is the new President of India.
**In the next class was Miss. Lata taking up science class for Div B.

Dinesh- As instructed by the teacher, went to next class to know the info.

Me - In mean time , many things were going in my mind like shit!!! i should have known this and would have got more appreciation from the teacher like Suzanne and applause from the whole class. Also something extra -ordinary flashed in my mind and in seconds whispered(one can never think of it) i.e. : Being a teacher and that too handling a subject called as Social studies doesn't know who is the new President of India and big deal asking it for 'Us'? Huh!! and started giggling to myself.

Class monitor- These words was gently taken by my neighbor and decently walked near to the teacher and revealed the statement made by me.

Me- In meantime was busy speaking to other boy next to me and never noticed.

Teacher - Hearing this, burst out w/ angry and called loudly Geeta, Stand up!!

Me- Stunned and clowning , found my neighbors being @place and silently asked them wat happened and they replied , do not know!!!. I was in a impression dat caught b'z of giggling.

Teacher - Recursive voice heard saying, Well!!! wat did you say to me - Myself do not know who is the President of India?? How dare youuuuuuuuu..???

Me- OMG!! Save me..Heart beats went high and hands going cold, also sniveling :'(.

Dinesh- ' May i come in'

Teacher- "Yes"

Children - All were eager to know who was ' POI' ???

Dinesh- Announced, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma is the new ' POI', back to his seat and confused himself wat went wrong in his absence.

Me- In background, wondering how did this reach to the teacher's ears by making sure my neighbors @place???

Teacher - Walked to me, took my notes , banged my head and threw away as if she practicing Discuss throw or found off playing flying disc. Instantly, i was asked to walk away from the class.

Me- Apologizing her by saying 'Sorry', 'Will not repeat' and stuffs...

Teacher - Being not convinced by my words..asked just to leave the class..by not consuming much of her time.

Me- Later, getting angry and saying to myself- 'aisa kya bole diya jo ghusa ho rahi hai' and made a move near to the door , picked my notes, left the class and happy to know the ' POI' before leaving the class!!! Stood out for sometime and realized ki it was Saturday, half day school and a period or so left and straight away went to home.

Mom- Received @door, Yenu Geeta isthu jaldi naa school intra???(Surprised to see me early from school and asked me the reason)

Me- Not feeling well(severe headache) and slept off weeping!

Me- Got up for lunch and w/ guts told them the whole story, fearing dat they are not called to school and surprised by hearing it later from Headmistress or Miss. Suzanne!

Brother- Pointed ki- Disadvantage of not keeping yourself updated with the news, very basic general knowledge and purely being my mistake.

Dad- Don't mind but made sure ki i had apologized her thoroughly.

Mom- Being always my side firstly scolded me for doing so and later point started cursing the teacher for not really knowing the President of India and in the mid of the class asking a boy to know the info from other teacher.

Me- Heeeeeeeeeee...Hearing these words , felt proud for myself in-spite of committing a blunder!!
